FAQ’s and Additional Information
If you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Yes, we can treat children. However, our clinical staff changes from week to week so there will not always be a physician specializing in children’s medical care available.
No. We refer patients in need of these services to Choice Family Health Care, which has clinics in Grand Island (308-384-7625) & Kearney (308-234-9140), where they offer these services. TCCC remains diligent in avoiding duplicating services already provided elsewhere.
All care we provide is free of charge. We do appreciate a $5.00 donation from those who are capable. We do ask that those with adequate insurance and/or income refrain from using the clinic.
No. We do not ask for any specific documentation (including proof of identification, homelessness, or immigration status) from any of our patients.
We receive no reimbursement from the government or insurance companies for our services. Our clinic is 100% ran on the love and support of your donation. You allow us to provide free healthcare with hospitality, dignity, and grace.
We have a responsibility to our community and our donors and work hard to ensure long-term sustainability of the clinic. We make our IRS Form 990 available for review, as required by law. Please reach out to Misty Schaecher, medical@thirdcityclinic.com, to learn more.
We are always looking for talented volunteers, including volunteer medical providers (MD, APRN, PA, etc), volunteer dentists for referrals, volunteer retired nursing staff & more!
TCCC provides and alternative to the emergency room for urgent, temporary care at no cost to the patient. When a patient visits they are seen by a licensed volunteer provider. TCCC believes that patient follow-up and on-going primary care is essential. By providing these opportunities, patients can obtain the services they need before hospitalization is required.
